The welfare took the lead after some great link up play between Rhys Lloyd & Gibbo, Rhys managed to get away from his marker and lay off a beautiful assist for Gibbo to smash home from a couple of yards out. Penycae were always looking to reply back and after some good link up play of their own they exposed our back four and took their chance clinically, 1-1. Later into the half Jake Kelsall & George Finlay linked up well for Jake to put an absolute belter past the Penycae keeper and put us back in the lead, 2-1. An ever resilient Penycae equalised yet again to make it 2-2!! GAME ON. Penycae back in the game and getting on top. But straight from the kick off Lewis Bickerton ghosted into the box and lashed home to make it 3-2. What a cup tie for the spectators!! Penycae lost a man which in all honesty could be seen as a harsh decision on them, but as soon as they went to 10 they got on top, and found their reward in the 90th minute, to equalise after the referee gave a dubious last minute penalty, 3-3.
And extra time, Man of the match Lewis Bickerton-Cole sees the ball fall to him 25+yards out and smashes home past the keeper, 4-3.
We managed to see the game through and we now meet Buckley Town in the QF at home.
